Home Finds with Walmart!

Happy Friday!  Doesn't it feel like January 75th! The month of January feels so long!! Luckily I have been busy, so I don't have to think about the cold temperatures.

This room has been a long time coming! We finally hired someone out to put up the wainscoting and cleaning up after the painters is no joke.  The amount of dust that was all over our wood flooring was insane! The fun part is just beginning. I have teamed up with Walmart to refresh my home and we are starting out with the front room. There is nothing more inviting than white and no time has white been more popular than it is today. Shopping for rugs online is so scary! You can score free shipping a lot of the time when shopping online, but trying to return a large rug can get very expensive.  I purchased two different rugs that were shipped and sold by Walmart.com in hopes that at least one would work for this freshly painted room. All purchases ship free starting at $35!  I ended up loving the  nuLOOM Machine Made Blythe Area Rug! This rug looks great with various styles of decor which makes it timeless. Farmhouse, glam, modern! This rug works for it all.  The second rug I purchased I dropped off at my local Walmart and received a full refund. The return was no big deal! 

The second item you need to get your hands on RIGHT NOW is a Dyson cordless vacuum! A friend of mine told me this vacuum would change my world and it has. I have dark wood floors throughout the first floor of my home. The are gorgeous, but they show everything. I am constantly cleaning my floors. Those floors will be my demise.  I have had a Dyson Ball Animal vacuum for years and have loved it, but the cordless makes cleaning small messes so much easier.  Simply grab it off the wall, clean up your mess and tuck it back away. It is a life changer and my kids don't whine nearly as much when I ask them to clean up their messes.  I did go with the Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal vacuum, but there are all different price points of cordless Dyson vacuums available. 

Let's not forget about the gorgeous blush chair I purchased from Walmart!  It is as striking as ever. I have been so impressed with the variety and quality of home decor items available on Walmart.com. The room is pretty empty at the moment, but I used the Shop by Style feature at Walmart.com to select more home decor and furniture items on a budget for this room. Items will be arriving pretty quickly. I can't wait to show you how the room comes together. Decorating can be expensive, but it doesn't have to be.
